Bio:
Dr. Massimo Gadina is currently the Director of the Office of Science and Technology at NIAMS. Prior to this appointment, he was a Senior Lecturer at the Division of Infection and Immunity, School of Medicine, Dentistry and Biomedical Sciences, The Queen’s University of Belfast, Northern Ireland (UK). His research interests are focused on immune-mediated diseases and specifically to the biology of cytokines, their relative signaling pathways and the development of small molecules inhibitors of the JAK-STAT pathway. His translational work is also focused on autoinflammatory diseases as well as other inflammatory diseases.
